About Me

Heart. We talk about it in many ways. The physical thing that brings us life, the one that beats inside our chests and keeps our blood pumping. We talk about it in the emotional sense relating to our feelings. Our heart loves, hurts, gets angry and more. But in the sense of this blog, we are talking about all of those things and more. Our hearts reflect what is truly inside ourselves: our desires, our motives, our loves, basically what makes us tick. I’m ready to say that even though I’m not perfect and my heart still has many flaws, I’m ready to pursue Christ with all of it. Naturally, it is easy to grow lazy and fall back into loving the things of this world. Our hearts chase after materialism, instant gratification, the pleasures that seem so real yet so temporary. But now that I know the truth, there is no turning back. A heart after Christ is on full-throttle and always charging ahead. There’s pain and suffering along the way, but according to Paul, that eventually produces perseverance and hope. This is a little corner of where I can share what that journey is like.
